DCPCR Internship Program: Empowering Youth for Child Rights and Social Justice

The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) is dedicated to safeguarding the rights and dignity of every child. We believe that the active involvement of young people in public service is the foundation of a just and equitable nation.

To nurture this spirit, DCPCR offers internship opportunities to motivated students and young professionals who are passionate about child rights, social justice, and public policy.


About the DCPCR Internship

Our internship program provides hands-on exposure to the functioning of a statutory child rights body. Interns work across various divisions and thematic areas, gaining valuable experience in governance, policy, and advocacy.

As a DCPCR intern, you may contribute to:

  • Conducting background research and field studies
  • Supporting data analysis and policy drafting
  • Preparing briefs, reports, and meeting minutes
  • Assisting in official communication (letters, notices, summons)
  • Contributing to documentation and social media outreach

Full-time interns receive a modest stipend along with official travel reimbursements.


Internship Duration and Mode

  • Mode: Offline only (in-person internship)
  • Duration: Minimum 2 months to maximum 6 months

Applications are accepted throughout the year and processed on a rolling basis. There is no fixed deadline.
